In the dock: Banned driver caught operating dumper truck in Fair Oak

BARTOSZ BADRAN, 32, of Redmoor Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified. He was caught driving a Wacker Neuson DW90 front dumper truck on Street Record, Allington Lane, Fair Oak. Badran was banned from driving for 34 months and received an eight-week sentence suspended for 18 months. He was ordered to pay £85 court costs. 

ROBERT DAY, 46, of Lodge Road, Southampton admitted to assault by beating and common assault in Eastleigh. The case was adjourned. Day was released on bail to appear at the same court on August 9 for sentencing. He is excluded from going to addresses on Twyford Road in Eastleigh and Fishers Road in Totton.

ASTON DARCH, 26, of Hyde Gate, Winchester pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after fragrances worth £236.97 were stolen from TK Maxx in Southampton. He was fined £40 and must also pay £20 court costs. 

MAXWELL LANE-WHEELER, 26, of City Road, Winchester admitted to a single charge of theft from a shop after he stole £32 worth of items, namely two bottles of wine and one meal packet from Marks and Spencers in Winchester. He was ordered to pay £32 compensation.

JERRY SKINNER, 34, of Longstock Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to 13 counts of theft from a shop. This relates to over £1,200 worth of items including groceries, alcohol, a rucksack, a scarf set, chocolate, meat and air fresheners that were stolen. They were taken from various shops in Southampton, Hamble-le-Rice, Hedge End, Lymington and North Baddesley including One Stop, Co-Op, Asda, Next and Lidl. Skinner also admitted to the theft of a pedal cycle worth £1,300 in Stanford Road in Lymington. He received a four-month sentence suspended for 12 months with a drug rehabilitation requirement and 15 rehabilitation days.
