Level 42 says Let's Rock Southampton 'as much fun as I ever have'

Level 42 rocked Southampton on Saturday, with crowds gathering on Southampton Common to see them.

Frontman Mark King said: “It was a real joy to play Let’s Rock Southampton at the weekend, and so lovely to see so many faces from the Island too!

“Hand on heart I have as much fun on stage with the guys now as I ever have, and feel very lucky to be able to make a field full of people happy, I loved it!”

The band formed on the Isle of Wight in 1979.

Red Funnel announced they held the 23.59 ferry by half an hour to make sure everyone got home.
